WORCESTER – The Worcester Chamber Music Society (WCMS) hosts its Chamberfest Summer Concert 1 on Saturday at First Baptist Church’s Gordon Hall at 111 Park Ave. in Worcester.
WCMS opens its summer concert series with a program that features:
- Benjamin Britten Suite for Violin and Piano, Op. 6
- Johann Sebastian Bach Trio Sonata in G Major, BWV 1039
- Gabriel Fauré Nocturne No. 6 in D-flat Major
- Antonín Dvořák Terzetto in C Major, Op. 74
- Tracy Kraus, flute
- Rohan Gregory, violin
- Peter Sulski, violin
- Ariana Falk, cello
- Randall Hodgkinson, piano
A preconcert talk starts at 7:30 PM and the program begins at 8 PM.
The event is free for youth under 17 years old. Adults are $32, Seniors $30, and college students are $10.
The second and third Chamberfest Concerts are July 13 and July 15. A festival pass for all three events is $72 to $77.
