WORCESTER – Police arrested a local man on Saturday, May 18, after another man reported being injured by his knife-wielding neighbor.
At around 10:15 AM, police responded to a report of a fight between June Street neighbors. Upon arrival at the scene, police located a man suffering from a laceration to his throat.
The injured man told police he had a verbal altercation with his neighbor who attacked him with a knife. EMS transported the injured man to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police located Kenneth Benson, 38, inside his apartment, where he was arrested without incident. Benson faces charges of Assault to Murder and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
