WORCESTER – Burncoat High School is closed on Tuesday, Dec. 12, due to no working heat in the building. Both basketball games, for boys and girls, are also cancelled.
Principal Joseph Ewick sent a message to parents, guardians, and other community members on Monday.
Ewick reported that the facilities department is working to resolve the issue with contractors. He also said that the schools is anticipated to be closed only one day, but an update will be provided on Tuesday about the status of classes on Wednesday.
