DUDLEY – Dudley Town Administrator Jonathan Ruda announced on Friday, December 13, that administrative leave for Fire Captain Chester Moroz.
Ruda said the leave began Monday, “following a recent incident” alleged to occur while off-duty. The decision to put Moroz on leave came because of the “serious nature and circumstances surrounding the allegation.”
The incident is under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police and the town remains in contact with Worcester County District Attorney Joe Early Jr.s’ office.
Information about the nature of the allegation was not released.
