WORCESTER – In celebration of 508 Day [May 8] this year, pop-up donut shop Glazy Susan is paying tribute to Worcester’s many three-deckers with a special donut.
The Triple Decker Decadence Doughnut is three “floors” of donuts — each floor representing a part of Worcester and Glazy Susan and filled, covered and topped with unique flavors.
Here’s how the folks at Glazy Susan describe each donut floor:
First floor: the Kelley Square. A SQUARE brioche style doughnut with a peanut glaze (because Kelley Square is a 🥜 now) filled with house made vanilla marshmallow fluff.
Second floor: double chocolate turtle (boy). A chocolate cake doughnut topped with our Hebert’s chocolate glaze, toasted pecans, and house made caramel. A nod to the infamous turtle boy fountain.
Third floor: Vietnamese coffee doughnut hole. Brioche style doughnut hole, Acoustic Java coffee glaze, chocolate covered espresso bean, and a pipette of condensed milk.
The Triple Decker Decadence Doughnut will be available for pre-order at noon on Tuesday, May 5. Glazy Susan is only accepting pre-orders.
Donut pickup will be at deadhorse hill on Friday, May 8 at 2 PM.
