With Valentine’s Day just days away, CandyStore.com has released its annual map of the most popular Valentine’s Day candy in each state.
In Massachusetts, the top Valentine’s Day candy of 2022 is a heart-shaped box of chocolates, followed by chocolate hearts and conversation hearts.
CandyStore.com uses their own sales data from the past 14 years and data from industry partners to determine the most popular Valentine’s Day candy in each state. The most popular Valentine’s Day candy in 2022 nationally is the heart-shaped box of chocolates, followed by conversation hearts and M&M’s.
According to CandyStore.com, the National Retail Foundation predicts consumer spending for Valentine’s Day will go up 10% this year and reach $23.9 billion with candy sales in the $2.2 billion range.
