Since the opening of the Hanover Theatre, Siebels has led the organization’s establishment of a vibrant conservatory, introducing the BrickBox Theater at the Jean McDonough Arts Center (JMAC), the formation of The Hanover Theatre Repertory, and the creation of the stage on Francis R. Carroll Plaza.
Siebels also led the annual direction and adaption of “A Christmas Carol.” Over 260,000 patrons, including 65,000 students, have seen the annual production. Auditions for the 17th annual production of “A Christmas Carol” begin on June 24.
“Troy’s care and commitment for The Hanover Theatre and his impact on the broader Worcester community is so evident,” said Hanover Theatre Board Chair Kellie Thibodeau. “Troy is humble, inspired and focused on making a meaningful difference in this community.”
