Thanksgiving leftovers have been thrown away, and department stores across Massachusetts are playing music for the next holiday.  

This weekend marks the first days of December. How will you be spending them?

Are you dreaming of a white Christmas early in the season?

Snow isn’t in the forecast for this weekend, but don’t let that interfere with your plans. Join White Christmas in West Brookfield for their 30th year operating.

Doors open this Sunday at 10 AM with a full day of entertainment, open houses, vendor fairs, music and much more!

 

Set your Saturday aglow! 

This Saturday at 3 PM, head over to Kelley Square for the annual tree lighting. Presented by Island Auto Repair & The Canal District, fill your heart with holiday joy as you join in on all the events lined up for the Canal District. 

Go on a walk after the tree lighting down Canal District to meet local Canal District and Worcester businesses who will be presenting free gifts, food, and beverages. Table Talk will be giving away 4″ pies, Polar Beverages will be giving away sample seltzer, WXLO will be presenting music and giveaways, and more! 

 

Go for a walk in the crisp air! 

This Saturday and Sunday get the family bundled up for a Christmas walk. From 5 PM to 8 PM, the two-year Sturbridge Town Christmas Decorating Contest Winner “Go Big Or Go Home”at 84 Breakneck Rd. in Sturbridge is setting up their l8ght display.

Walk the property and view their collection of Vintage and Current “Blow Mold” decorations.  Several hundred light up decorations will awe everyone in your family  This walk is free but accepting donations for St Judes Children’s Research Hospital and Burgess Elementary School.

 

Get artsy this weekend!

Celebrate the art of creation at the station this Sunday. At Union Station this Sunday, local vendors will be assembled with handmade fare for StART at the Station. This event is running from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Come down to support your local economy this holiday season, and buy handmade!

 

Christmas comes early this Sunday!

Treat your kids to holiday-themed fun at Brush it Off Paint and Sip Bar. This Sunday at 10:30 AM, make your child’s special by painting with Santa. Have fun painting a step-by-step image. Enjoy warm cocoa and cookies as Santa comes in to see what you painted. He will talk with the class and lead a Sing-A-Long with everyone and even read a story!

Each family will get their turn to meet with Santa where you can take some wonderful photos of your child telling Santa what they want for Christmas.
