WORCESTER – Officers within the Worcester Police Neighborhood Response Team were in the King St. area on arrested a man on drug charges on Thursday, January 14.
Around noon, officers witnessed Wilberto Negron, 46, of Worcester, place several small plastic bags in his belt area and walk toward Valley St.
Negron soon met two individuals with who he exchanged a small plastic bag for cash.
Officers placed Negron under arrest and recovered a tan substance believed to be heroin from the buyer. Officers also recovered Suboxone in Negron’s possession.
Negron faces the following charges:
- Distribution of a Class A Substance
- Possession of a Class A Substance
- Possession of a Class B Substance
