Worcester Closes Municipal Buildings Due to Storm

WORCESTER – The City of Worcester has closed the following buildings for all business on Thursday, December 17, due to the impending winter storm:

City Hall, 455 Main St.

The Worcester Public Library, 3 Salem St.

Worcester Division of Public Health and Fire Prevention, 25 Meade St.

Municipal facilities will reopen under normal operating schedules on Friday, Dec. 18, with the exception of the Treasurer’s Office, which will continue to work remote for the remainder of the week due to a COVID-19 exposure.

All City employees will be working remotely to ensure limited interruption to essential services and delivery of vital records.
