Notre Dame Academy and Assumption College Partner for Dual-Enrollment
In late June, Notre Dame announced that they entered into a dual-enrollment agreement with Assumption College. Beginning next school year, Notre Dame Academy juniors and seniors will be able to enroll in an Assumption college course for credit, at no tuition cost.
By participating in the NDA/Assumption dual enrollment program students will earn college credit and high school credit while gaining experience in college-level academics.
“Dual enrolled students will be able to further explore their interests in possible fields of study that they are considering for a college major,” said Kathryn Woodson Barr, Notre Dame Academy Head of School. “Students will also be able to explore a discipline that may not be available at our school or at the high school level.”
The program is open to Juniors and Seniors at Notre Dame Academy who have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 at the time of applying.
