WORCESTER – Police responded to a pedestrian crash on Monday morning, December 27, that left a 62-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.
Police arrived at North Lake Avenue and Belmont Street around 8 AM and found the man in the roadway being treated by medics. EMS soon transported the man to a local hospital.
According to the Worcester Police Department, the preliminary investigation by the Crash Reconstruction Team shows a sedan struck the man as he crossed Lake Avenue. The driver of the sedan remained at the scene after the crash.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
