WORCESTER – The Bean Counter Bakery Cafe, at 113 Highland St., will hold a grand reopening on March 20, at 1 PM.
The Bean Counterr has recently renovated its Highland Street location, which it has served from since 2001. Along with a range of coffee options, the store sells wedding cakes, celebration cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and fine desserts.
The renovations at the Highland Street store are intended to align the store with the brand of its flaship location at 270 Grove St. The Bean Counter also has a location on Route 9 in Shrewsbury, at 288 Boston Turnpike.
Alice Lombardi, the Bean Counter founder, started the busiuness from heer home kitchen in 1998, selling selling desserts to local Worcester businesses until opening the Highland Street store in 2001.
“Our journey from a home kitchen to the heart of Worcester has been incredible,” said Lombardi. “This renovation is a testament to our commitment to providing not just delightful treats but an unforgettable experience for our cherished customers.”
