Three Worcester restaurants have advanced into the “Sweet 16” of Taste of Massachusetts’ “Breaking Brunch” competition to find the best brunch spot in the state.
Armsby Abbey, Maddi’s Cookery + Taphouse and Lock 50 are all in line to possibly advance to the competition’s Final Four.

The “Breaking Brunch” competition aims to get input from followers on the best brunch spots in Massachusetts and to help give some exposure to local small businesses.
Here is the full schedule of voting for “Breaking Brunch:”
- Round 1: Open Nominations (Completed)
- Round 2: Open Voting of All Nominated (Completed)
- Round 3: Top “Sweet 16” based on your votes
- FINALS: Final 4 for a Winner takes All Vote
Once the final four are selected, Taste of Massachusetts will hold a winner-take-all vote to find the best brunch spot in the state.
