FITCHBURG – A Fitchburg woman was arrested on Tuesday by members of the Massachusetts State Police [MSP] Gang Unit and Fitchburg Police for trafficking more than 300 grams of heroin and fentanyl.
Rosemary Delossantos, 29, of Fitchburg, was arrested in a parking lot on Whalon St. Following her arrest, the Fitchburg Police along with the MSP Gang Unit and narcotics detection K9 team, executed a warrant at Delossantos’ Depot St. apartment.

During the sweep, MSP K9 Drago, handled by Sgt. Brian McKenna, showed interest in several locations. Troopers and officers subsequently located quantities of a heroin/fentanyl mixture and cocaine, as well as several OxyContin pills.
The investigation and subsequent arrest of Delossantos resulted in the seizure of more than 300 grams of heroin/fentanyl.
Delossantos was transported to the State Police-Leominster Barracks, where she was booked on the following charges:
- Trafficking in Fentanyl (3 counts);
- Trafficking in Heroin/Morphine/Opium (2 counts);
- Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute; and
- Possession of Oxycontin with Intent to Distribute.
