WORCESTER – A report of a break-in at JK Mart at 211 Chandler St. brought officers from the Worcester Police Department to the store just before 5 AM on Friday, May 29.
JK Mart also has a Dunkin’ inside the store.
Officers arrived to find the front entrance to the store smashed with a brick.
After searching the building for a suspect, officers turned to surveillance footage to build a description of a subject.
Around an hour later a call identified a man matching the description compiled by the officers.
At about 6 AM on May 29, Worcester Police arrested Chris Goodman, 30, Lowell. Goodman faces charges of Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime to Commit a Felony, Larceny from a Building, and Vandalism.
