A Community Conversation for Mental Health Awareness Month

WORCESTER – The Second Annual Mental Health Awareness Community Conversation takes place inside the gym at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church at 236 Lincoln St. in Worcester on May 9.

The event is in recognition of the Mental Health Awareness month of May and will feature personal stories highlighting experiences in burnout prevention and building resiliency from individuals serving the community as first responders and in human services.

The event is moderated by Tuyet Tran, LICSW & Executive Director of the Southeast Asian Coalition of Central Massachusetts. The panelists are:

  • Nicole Daigle – LMHC & Director of Serenity Coaching and Counseling, LLC
  • Brian Harkins – Army Veteran Stoughton Firefighter, Paramedic, Peer Support Group Leader
  • Gloriann Switzer – LSWA & Advocate Supervisor and Outreach Coordinator at CASA
  • Juan Rivera – Recovery Coach at the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office
  • John Monoghan – Retired Chief of Police

From 5 PM to 6:15 PM there will be light refreshments with comfort dogs and vendors on site.
