‘Mini’ City Hall Plans to Open in Worcester’s Main South in February

WORCESTER – The City of Worcester plans to open a “mini” City Hall next month on Main St. in the city’s Main South neighborhood.

The “mini” City Hall, or Municipal Services Center [MSC], will be located at 801 Main St. [benefit Oread St. and Benefit St.].

Here’s how it will work:

  • A City of Worcester will employee will be staffed at the MSC from 12 PM to 7 PM Monday thru Friday. 
  • The location will offer voter registration, tax payment, census completion and residents can obtain a copy of their birth certificate.
  • The service center will also feature applications and permits like dog licenses, library cards, special event applications, park permits, Doing Business As [DBAs] and City Council petitions.

Additional local and state services that are planned to be provided at the MSC include WIC, MassHealth, Flu Clinics, Quality of Life Team assistance, Veterans Services, First-Time Homebuyer resources, and others.
