WORCESTER – The Worcester Police Department is searching for a male suspect who police say stabbed a WRTA bus driver on Wednesday on Lincoln Street.
Around 2:40 PM, officers were dispatched to the area of Denny’s restaurant on Lincoln Street for a report of a stabbing on a WRTA bus. A male bus driver had been stabbed. He was brought to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to the WPD, the male entered the bus and stabbed the driver. The search for the suspect continues. If anyone has information about the incident, they can send an anonymous text to 274637 TIPWPD + your message or send an anonymous web based message at worcesterma.gov/police.
