Seven Hills Family Services Awarded over $500,000 in State Grant

WORCESTER – Seven Hills Family Services is one of 42 organizations across Massachusetts included in a round of $18.3 million in state grants awarded for short term relief family members and primary caregivers of those will complex needs. The funded proposals will support caregivers with reprieve as they care for individuals with chronic or other health conditions, disabilities, or functional limitations.

Seven Hills Family Services was awarded $520,273 in the round of funding.

The funded proposals will support caregivers with reprieve as they care for individuals with chronic or other health conditions, disabilities, or functional limitations.

The grants were funded from the Medicaid Home and Community Based Services under the American Rescue Plan Act. In 2021,

Massachusetts State Senator Michael Moore said, “Seven Hills Family Services
offers critical respite programs for individuals throughout the Commonwealth, allowing caregivers the opportunity to rest and recharge.”

Seven Hills Family Services works with individuals with disabilities, and their families, and caregivers, by providing a wide array of options to enable them to live in a nurturing environment, maintain relationships with families and loved ones and choose how to live, learn, and grow.
