WORCESTER – Ahead of two major events in Worcester on Sunday, Sept. 15, the Worcester Police Department [WPD] has issued a traffic advisory.
The WPD is advising motorists of the following road closures and traffic delays:
- 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer’s — 10 AM to 2 PM — in the area of Hanover Insurance, North Parkway, Burncoat Street, Quinapoxet Lane and several side streets in the area.
- Start on the Street Arts Festival — 11 AM to 6 PM — Park Avenue, from Highland Street to Pleasant Street, will be closed from 6:30 AM to 8 PM. Detour signs will be posted in both directions.
