According to IMDB.com, Defending Jacob “…unfolds around a shocking crime that rocks a small Massachusetts town, and follows assistant district attorney, Andy Barber (Chris Evans) who finds himself torn between his sworn duty to uphold justice and his unconditional love for his son Jacob.”

The series is based on William Landay’s 2012 bestselling crime novel, Defending Jacob, and will also star actors Michelle Dockery and Jaeden Martell.

Almost exactly a year ago, Paramount Television was in Worcester’s Grafton Hill neighborhood filming the series. Last June, Paramount returned to Worcester film scenes off of Pleasant Street and in the Newton Sq. area.
