See Worcester's Memorial Day Commemoration Events

WORCEESTER - The City of Worcester has scheduled several events to commemorate Memorial Day during eh upcoming weekend.

Memorial Day is a national holiday for honoring and mourning the U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. This year, Memorial Day on May 29.

Events this weekend commemorating Memorial day in Worcester are below.

Sunday, May 28

• 1 PM - Elm Park - Water Ceremony

Monday, May 29

• 9 AM - Hope Cemetery - Memorial Day Observance and Remembrance
• 11 AM - Massachusetts Vietnam War Veterans Memorial at Green Hill Park - laying ceremony.
• 1 PM - Korean War memorial at 52 Foster St.  - wreath laying ceremony
