Police Seek Help in Worcester Shooting Investigation

WORCESTER – The Worcester Police Department is asking for help from the public in its investigation of a shooting on Sunday, April 7.

Officers were dispatched to Clarkson Street shortly after 9 PM in response to reports of gunshots. While in transit to the scene, the department received information that indicated possible victims.

Officers arrived and were flagged down by people at the scene. An 18-year-old female was located suffering from injuries from a gunshot. Two other victims, a second 18-year-old female and a 17-year-old male, were located at the scene. Officers provided medical aid to the victims until EMS arrived and transported all three to the hospital.

On Monday, police arrested Jordany Alejo, 19, of Worcester, on three counts of Armed Assault to Murder in connection with the shooting. The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
