WORCESTER – A poetry slam in Worcester will see four competitors win $50 each and advance to the next round of the competition in Boston and the possibility to tavel to Washington D.C. in July.
The Worcester Preliminary Teen Poetry Slam takes place at the White Room, at 138 Green St., in Worcester, on April 25 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. See the rules of the contest and register to peroform here.
The Worcester event is hosted by BrujaTheVillain and local jurors include Boston Poet Laureate, Amanda Shea; Worcester Youth Poet Laureate emeritus, Adael Mejia; and Nikk “Nark” Lessard from the Dirty Gerund Poetry Show.
