The Massachusetts Department of Public Health [DPH] updated the “Immunization Requirements for School Entry” on Friday, January 15, removing the requirement for flu vaccination for attendance in childcare/preschool, primary, secondary and postsecondary education.
DPH continues to recommend everyone age six months and older receive an annual flu vaccine.
The current Massachusetts school immunization requirements for childcare and preschool includes the Hib, DTaP, Polio, Hepatitis B, MMR and Varicella vaccines.
