The National Weather Service [NWS] is forecasting the first accumulating snowfall of the season for Wednesday, December 8, in Worcester.
NWS says a widespread 1 to 2 inches of snow is in the forecast locally and much of the snow will fall during the evening commute.
According to the current forecast, snow is expected to start after 1 PM in the Worcester area with a 60% chance of precipitation. Snow will continue in the evening and overnight into Thursday morning.
