Free COVID-19 Testing Today at Main South CDC

The City of Worcester and UMass Memorial Healthcare’s COVID-19 Task Force is hosting a free COVID-19 testing and resource fair today — Monday, August 3 — at the Main South CDC at 875 Main St. in Worcester.

The testing will take place from 10 AM to 7 PM.

A free mask and hand sanitizer will be provided with each test administered.

 

Kai Sushi Opening for Dine-In Today

Kai Sushi Bar and Grill at 68 Stafford St. will be opening today for dine-in services and serving their full menu.

The popular sushi restaurant will be open every day from 11:30 AM to 9 PM and reservations are recommended.

Construction at Worcester Senior Center Fitness Park has Started

The FitLot Outdoor Fitness Park at the Worcester Senior Center is now under construction.

According to the City of Worcester, Worcester is the only city in the state to receive a FitLot park through a partnership with AARP.

Comedian Tom Cotter to Perform in Worcester Sept. 5

Comedian Tom Cotter — of America’s Got Talent fame — will perform at the Worcester Beer Garden Pavilion in downtown Worcester on Saturday, September 5.

The event is being hosted by The WooHaha! Comedy Club.

Cotter has performed on Last Comic Standing, The Tonight Show and has appeared on The Howard Stern Show.
