WORCESTER – The Worcester Police Department [WPD] is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect responsible for March 11 hit-and-run suspect that left a 77-year-old woman hospitalized.

According to the WPD, officers with the Crash Reconstruction Team responded around 5:50 PM to the area of 1099 Pleasant St. for a pedestrian hit and run crash.
The female victim was crossing the street inside a crosswalk when the vehicle — described as a 2011-2014 white Hyundai Sonata with a sunroof and alloy rims — struck her and then continued onto Mill St. without stopping.
The picture above is the possible suspect vehicle. The vehicle should have minor damage to the hood and possibly front bumper (passengers side).
