The New England Patriots’ 2020 opponents were announced on Sunday morning following their victory on Saturday over the Buffalo Bills and clinching their 11th straight AFC East title.
Aside from the six games against their division counterparts — the Bills, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins — the Patriots will square off again next year with some familiar rivals, including hosting the top team in the AFC this year, the Baltimore Ravens and traveling to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs.
The highlights for Pats’ fans will likely be the return of Jimmy Garoppolo to Gilette Stadium as he brings the San Francisco 49ers to Foxborough and a re-match of Super Bowl LIII in Los Angeles against the Rams.
One major note for the 2020 list of opponents: lots of travel for the Patriots to the West Coast. The Patriots will not only take on the Rams in L.A., but will also travel west play the Los Angeles Chargers and Seattle Seahawks.
