WORCESTER- Like most recent special occasions, Mother’s Day is going to be celebrated a little differently this year.
A holiday that is normally full of family gatherings, spa trips and brunches, will instead be spent at home as the spread of COVID-19 continues to restrict large gatherings or non-essential businesses from opening.
Although such traditions must be postponed during the coronavirus pandemic, moms can still be treated on their special day. Sweet Jane’s Designer Consignment is holding a raffle contest now until Sunday, May 10, when the winner will be announced live on Instagram.
The winner will receive a $350 shopping spree in the form of a gift card and will be treated to brunch for two at Armsby Abbey upon reopen.
According to Sweet Jane’s owner Amanda Setaro, “As usual there is a surprise included after the winner is pulled.”
Entry is $5 through any Sweet Jane’s social media account- including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Tik Tok. Entry payments are accepted through Venmo @sweetjanes or paypal @sweetjanesdc.
