WORCESTER – Leadership Worcester, a nine-month experiential learning program, is now recruiting 28 new members for its next session from September to May 2024.
The Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce runs the program, which has graduated over 200 since it began. The program is designed to connect with key stakeholders, learn from influential leaders, and forge relationships that help them advance their careers.
According to the Worcester Chamber, the program provides exclusive behind the scenes experience of issues facing Worcester, engage wit key topics and proposed solutions to public challenges, and enable participants to meet and engage with current leaders. Program graduates include City Manager Eric Batista, Worcester Chief Development Officer Peter Dunn, City Councilor Etel Haxhiaj, City Council candidate Domenica Perrone, Worcester Wares owner Jessica Walsh, Owner of Petricore Games Ryan Canuel, and Che Anderson of UMass Chan Medical School.
