WORCESTER – The National Weather Service [NWS] has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Worcester area starting at 7 AM on Sunday, February 7.
The forecast calls for 5 to 8 inches of heavy, wet snow to start falling late Sunday morning. NWS reports snowfall rates could reach 1 to 2 inches per hour during the storm.
The warning is in place until 1 AM on Monday, February 8.
