WORCESTER – The month of December is expected to start with a bang.
The National Weather Service [NWS] has issued a Winter Storm Watch beginning Sunday at 11 AM. The forecast is calling for 8 to 13 inches of snow to fall between Sunday afternoon and into Tuesday morning.
NWS also anticipates accumulations of one-tenth of an inch of ice.
NWS expects travel to be very difficult to impossbile at time and the hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute on Monday.
