SPENCER – The Spencer Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a man that allegedly attempted to entice a boy to get in his car.
The boy – a 5th grader – was walking home from school along Ash St. around 2:15 PM when he was approached by a man driving a small, red SUV.
The man allegedly asked the minor to get into his car in exchange for a $!00 iPhone gift card. The minor declined and the vehicle drove away.
The suspect is described as a while male, early 20s, with light brown hair. The vehicle’s registration begins with the letter “W.”
