WORCESTER – On Thursday afternoon, Worcester Police officers arrested 25-year-old Victor Zeno for dealing heroin on Chandler St.
According to the WPD, around 1 PM, the Worcester Police Neighborhood Response Team was conducting surveillance in the area of lower Chandler St. when officers observed a Toyota Highlander pull up to two females who were standing on the corner near Chandler and King St.
Zeno, of Oread St., was the passenger in the Toyota Highlander. He was seen leaning out of the window and handing a small object to one of the females. In return, Zeno received cash.
Officers observed the female quickly inspect the item, then make a fist around it. After the Highlander drove away, the officers stopped the female and recovered two bags of what appeared to be heroin.
Zeno was subsequently located and placed under arrest for Distribution of a Class A Substance.
He will be arraigned in Worcester District Court.
