Worcester Seek Identity of Man in Connection with Shooting

WORCESTER – People fighting led to a 77-year-old man being shot on Southwest Cutoff on the evening of Wednesday, June 2. Police are seeking the man pictured above in connection with the incident.

Police dispatched to Southwest Cutoff around 6 PM and located the gunshot victim upon arrival at the scene. Police found a second man, 74 years old, injured from being struck with a rock in the face.

Medical personnel transported both men to a local hospital for treatment.

According to police, the investigation indicates several individuals on dirt bikes were driving on Sunderland Rd. to Southwest Cutoff when a verbal dispute with the two victims took place, leading to a physical confrontation.
