Is your family tired of the same old routine? Change up your weekly schedule and add new activities to your calendar!

ThisWeekinWorcester.com has your list of five family-friendly events that will leave you and your household smiling from Saturday to Sunday! Treat the whole family to exciting holiday entertainment this weekend!

Enjoy a theatrical performance without leaving your couch!

This Saturday and Sunday, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center can be seen right from your living room. From 7:15 PM to 8:40 PM, you can stream a modern take on a beloved Christmas classic!

The Jersey Performing Arts Center will be showing a recorded streaming version of The Hip Hop Nutcracker, which has been directed and choreographed by Jennifer Weber.

Tickets are $25 and will give you access to the performance.

Make up for lost time this Saturday!

All students who missed out on prom last year due to the pandemic will be able to make memories to last them a lifetime. Although it is not prom season, Q-Look Bridal is hosting A Night Under the Stars Prom Event.

The party will kick off this Saturday at 7:15 PM and individuals 21 and younger are invited to join them for a special prom event. Tickets are between $45 and $55 and must be purchased before the event since seats are limited.

Feel festive this Weekend!

Get the family in the car this Sunday from 2:15 PM to 3:45 PM for a Family Christmas Drive-Through in the city! Cruise through Belmont street, make some noise, honk your horns, and marvel at the festive decorations.

You’re encouraged to wear your best holiday sweaters or other apparel, and decorate your car!  You must stay in your vehicle for the whole event, but you will be rewarded with a treat that you can pick up for your family.

Happy Hanukkah, Worcester! Find time to celebrate the holiday this weekend.

On Sunday starting at 6:15 PM, join Worcester JCC at 533 Salisbury for their Worcester Menorah Lighting and Outdoor Theatre event. Stay cozy in your car in their parking lot to enjoy the festivities and the tasty treats available!

Please make reservations on this website beforehand!

Jazz up your Saturday afternoon!

This Saturday from 12:45 PM to 3:15 PM, you can fill your house with music during WICN’s Jazz Jam. The radio station will be hosting their free, virtual Holiday Jazz Jam to put everyone in festive spirits.

Everyone interested in joining the event can turn their radio stations to 90.5 FM and it will also be streamed on their Facebook page.

All listeners can purchase raffle tickets for their event; it is one ticket for $10 or 3 tickets for $25 with a chance to win a Davis Farmland Family four pack, Klem’s general store gift card, and much more!
