WORCESTER – The Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District completed its wayfinding project last week with 88 banners on light poles throughout the downtown area.
The banners highlights area attractions and welcomes visitors to downtown Worcester.
Downtown Worcester BID received a $75,000 grant this spring from the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism to cover the costs of the banners and its other wayfinding decals and maps.
As ThisWeekinWorcester.com reported earlier this month, the BID also installed about 50 wayfinding maps and 22 sidewalk decals in the downtown area. The maps and decals will be in place from now through October.
